A MESSAGE FROM THE FUTURE
written a few days after the rapture

Dear friend back in 2008,

As strange as it may sound this letter comes from the city of Cracow, Poland in the future. It is written in the most dramatic moment of mankind's history. One week after the rapture.
I hope that this message will find a way to reach you back in 2008.

Millions of people disappeared around the globe seven days ago. Families were divided. Men and women lost their spouses, parents, children and other relatives. There is chaos all around. Communication and banking systems are shut down. World media are desperately trying to find out the answer to what has just happened. Various countries around the globe publish reports presenting the number of missing citizens. What's stunning is that more than a half of Nigerian population disappeared! The United States and China lost over 20% of their population.

And here comes my desperate cry.
I am Polish. Over 99% of our population was not taken away.

As hard as it is to accept Poland did not suffer from any great loss. Polish national TV reports that only approximately 40 000 people disappeared. And there are over 38 million of people living in Poland!

Now I can see the reason. Back in 2008 no one would say that Poland is among the countries in the greatest need of church planting. There were 2490 counties in Poland at that time. No one knew that 2219 of them had no evangelical church! As a percentage of the population there were 4 times less Evangelical Christians than there were in Saudi Arabia!

Sadly there was no one who did see it then.

If this letter makes it to reach you on time, my prayer is that you will find people with passion for God and help them plant churches in Poland!

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Last year was a great year of development for the Polish Church of
God. Representative Wojtek Wloch worked actively representing the
Church of God at major interdenominational conferences this past year. The Global Leadership Summit was hosted by the Krakow church and had over 400 pastors and church leaders present from across Poland, portraying the full spectrum of the Evangelical Christian community.
The Krakow church also hosted its third annual conference on the family, which has grown to well over 300 participant.

The courageous vision of Pastor Wloch is to plant churches in every county of the southern Poland. Pastor Wloch sees his own church in Cracow as a pattern of a local church to be multiplied in other cities across the country.

However, to see this very vision accomplished, there is a need of owning headquarters first.

A central Church of God in Poland is located in the city of nearly one
million people (with 180 000 university students among them) yet still does
not have its own building. The church was forced to change its meeting
place 25 times throughout last 16 years.

That’s how the vision of Cracow Ministry Center was born. It will be a place of training and education for future pastors, a place to evangelize whole families, a place to reach out to the youth and
students of Cracow.
